What the score is. Grasp Scores and reports are risk indicators computed from public
repository metadata using the published
methodology. They are proxies, provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. They are not
assertions about any person's or organization's competence, and not claims about the quality,
security, or fitness of any software. Don't make them into something they're not.
Using the free scanner. Scan any public repository within the posted rate limits. Don't
abuse, overload, probe, or attempt to disrupt the service, and don't misrepresent Grasp output as
something SolarMark Software LLC did not produce.
Your reports. You may share and cite reports generated for you, with attribution to
graspscore.com. The engine, site, and methodology text remain the property of SolarMark Software LLC.
Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SolarMark Software LLC’s liability arising from use of the free
service is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is zero. Paid engagements are governed by
their own agreements.
Who operates Grasp. Grasp is operated by SolarMark Software LLC; these terms are an agreement
between you and SolarMark Software LLC.
Prohibited use. No Grasp output may be used to evaluate, compensate, discipline,
rank, or terminate any individual. The scores are organisational diagnostics; outputs are
pseudonymised by default and naming individuals is a logged, deliberate act. Using any output
against a person is a breach of these terms.
Changes. These terms may be updated; the current version always lives at this URL.
